Kuta has the densest traffic in Bali. Shortcuts through small gang (alley) roads can save significant time. Avoid Jalan Kartika Plaza and Jalan Pantai Kuta during rush hours (17:00–19:00). A small scooter is ideal — easier to maneuver and park in tight spaces.
