FAQ – Scooter Rental Bali

Do I need a motorcycle license to rent a scooter in Bali?
Legally, yes. Indonesian law requires a SIM C for locals or an International Driving Permit (IDP) Category A plus your home country license for foreigners. Police checks are common in tourist areas.
Are the scooters automatic?
Yes, all our scooters are fully automatic (twist and go). No gear shifting needed — just twist the throttle and ride. Perfect for beginners.
How far can I ride on a full tank?
Small scooters (Beat, Scoopy, Genio) get 40-50 km/liter with a 4-liter tank — about 160-200 km range. Mid-range bikes (PCX, NMAX) get 35-45 km/liter with larger tanks.
What happens if the scooter breaks down?
Contact us immediately on WhatsApp. We'll arrange roadside assistance or a replacement bike as quickly as possible. Our fleet is well-maintained, but we're here if anything happens.
Can I ride the scooter to other parts of Bali?
Yes! You can ride anywhere in Bali. Popular routes include Ubud rice terraces, Uluwatu cliffs, Kintamani volcano, and northern waterfalls. Just plan your fuel stops for longer rides.
